Games – past and present

In the past, children had fewer toys than we have today. Most of them did not have much money, so they used to make their own toys. They used to make and play with beanbags. They did not have electronic toys like we have nowadays. They enjoyed making models and playing with paper dolls. They used to skip and play marbles and hopscotch in the playground, too.

Nowadays, we are more fortunate because we have many games to play. We can play with radio-controlled cars. We can even use computers to play online games with children from all around the world.
